And the winner of the home appraisal is…

The real winners here are the kids who will benefit from the research for which donations are being raised. Fundraisers for the Foundation For Prader-Willi Research (PWS) raised $28,428 in their most recent event in Deerfield Illinois.

Chicago AppraisalThe winners of the free home appraisal are Andy and Ari. Not only did they win the home appraisal but must have been carrying around a horse shoe in their back pocket as they won 2 other raffle prizes. Congratulations to Andy and Ari, PWS, the fundraisers for their tireless efforts and most of all congratulations to the kids for getting one small step closer to a cure.

If you were not able to make it in person and want to help with a good cause please click here and donate as every little bit helps.

Check out our prior post, which talks about PWS and how it affects kids.

  1. Great job John on the fundraiser. Were you a little nervous giving away an appraisal? I’ve thought about doing that before, but I’m worried that the person who won would be the guy with a log dome home that has an A-frame addition made from a double wide with a dirt floor on river frontage and historical restrictions. 🙂

    • Funny you say dome home. When I firsted started performing real estate appraisals, I had to appraise a dome home. I was lucky enough to find one other that sold so it wasn’t so bad.
